About

Bonjour à tous! // Hey y’all!

My name is Robin – I’m a witty and bubbly writer and content creator with a passion for telling stories and seeking out new experiences across the globe.

My pink passport and I have traveled to over 50 countries and counting. The only thing I value more that seeing new places and things is immersing myself in the present, getting to know people on a personal level, and learning how to feel at home even when I’m thousands of miles away.

After all, what’s the point of staying in your comfort zone? It’s time to live life to its fullest and get out into the world!

I’m originally from Roanoke, Virginia and am a 2020 graduate from Tulane University in New Orleans, Louisiana with majors in political science, communications, and French.

In Fall 2018, I began this blog as a way to document my semester abroad in Paris as an exchange student at Sciences Po. I then completed internships in the political communications field at The U.S. Department of State, The Brookings Institution, The U.S. Agency for International Development, and Curley Company.

Now, I’m back in France, constantly seeking out new adventures! I spent my first two years here (from September 2021 to June 2023) working as a primary school English teaching assistant in Paris through the Teaching Assistant Program in France (TAPIF).

After a moment of panic, I decided to seek out a job more closely aligned to my studies. Since July 2023, I have been working at a Paris-based agency as a Communications Consultant, and I love what I do!

When I’m not blogging about my escapades or journaling for future-me, you can find me taking power naps, watching 90 Day Fiancé, going to dynamo and Le Cercle workout classes, and experimenting with new meal prep recipes.

I’m passionate about brunch, feminism, wine and cheese pairings, policy change, and the appropriate usage of the Oxford comma. Oh, and travel, of course!
